Narrow strip steel is strip with width ≤ 600mm, the products are produced in strips or coils. Since the edge shape of hot rolled strip is more suitable for welding than the strip after slitting, it is mostly used for materials for welded pipes, metal components, and other daily necessities. The narrow strip steel produced by the hot continuous rolling method has good edge shape due to the use of multiple vertical rolling mills, that is, there is no shearing burrs and burrs on the edges, thereby ensuring the welding performance.Which saves complicated equipment compared with the strip slit from wide strips steel via the slitting unit, so it is more suitable for small and medium steel plants to have such narrow strip rolling mill.
